Okay, first of all, when I first read this post title, I said to myself ''OMG, he stole my idea.''

Now, I am in full favor of this profession. It is perfectly balanced, well thought out, and actually fits perfectly into the GW world. I mean, they have froggin' dwarves out there making IRON GIANTS... I am pretty sure that they can handle guns.

I have noticed that those against it think that gun bullets would instantly kill someone... Arrows kill people easily and fastly, yet anet made it so that they do not.

Swords and axes easily kill people in one slash, yet anet balanced that.

Daggers easily slice and dice people to death, yet anet made it so that it is harder.

Big MOTHER F***ING FIREBALLS, ICE STONES, AND THUNDERBOLTS kill people in one try, yet anet has made it so that they do not.

God (or any other religious firgure) kill people and send them to wherever they want them to go, yet anet fit Smiting in there.

Having life drained out of you can instantly kill you, yet anet made it so that it only steals a portion of health.

I hope you nay-sayers are getting my point here. In real life, guns easily kill people, as do a lot of things, yet anet will balance it all out.

I agree, it would be so easy, and its been done, to make guns scarily over-powered but this is most assuredly one of the 3 "idea" classes that i actually like. I hope this comes in soon, dwarves have giant steel monstrocities we can have our old school flint-locks and hand cannons.
